Mandalay

This exceptional hard to find mango variety is from Myanmar. Known as ‘Mandalay Yin Gwaw’ in Myanmar, tropical fruit enthusiast Maurice Kong brought the variety to the US. ‘Mandalay’ has a sweet, rich, complex mango flavor with hints of passion fruit and other tropical fruits. There is smooth flesh with no fiber. While ‘Mandalay’ has its own distinctive flavor, its flavor profile is reminiscent of other southeast Asian mangos like ‘Sein Ta Lone’.
